To help improve air quality and public health, we were tasked with persuading people to use low smoke fuels in domestic fires and stoves, rather than regular coal and wood…A task made considerably more challenging by rising energy prices and fuel poverty, brought on by the Ukraine war.
Our solution was to develop a character with good reason to be concerned about cleaner air…A domestic pigeon, who as we know, tend to nest and hang about on domestic rooftops, making them more susceptible to the effects of chimney smoke than most.
